Golden Gate Bridge Guided Bike Tour
Experience the stunning waterfront as you pedal across the Bridge, learning about its history, and enjoy the famously wonderful weather of Sausalito. The mostly flat National Park Bike Path will take you from Fisherman's Wharf across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and into the town of Sausalito.

This guided bicycle tour departs at 10 am daily from our 2715 Hyde Street location. Please arrive 15 minutes early for bike fitting and orientation.
Itinerary
Bike the Bridge! Ride with our guides along San Francisco’s stunning waterfront. Truly the best way to see the bay, this tour is perfect for families and individuals seeking an up-close & personal look at our city’s most celebrated landmark.
The tour begins at the picturesque Aquatic Park in Fisherman’s Wharf. The mostly flat National Park Bike Path will take you through Fort Mason, the Marina, Presidio National Park, and onto the iconic Golden Gate Bridge! Along the way, our local guide will share entertaining and educational information with you, including the history behind the Golden Gate Bridge.
You’ll cross the bridge on the sidewalk with stunning views of the city and bay, followed by a 10 minute downhill ride taking you into the charming bayside town of Sausalito.
Your guided bike tour will end in Sausalito approximately 12:30-12:45pm, where you'll have time for lunch before boarding your shuttle at 2pm to Muir Woods National Monument.

After enjoying Sausalito, you will board a comfortable shuttle that will whisk you to Muir Woods for your self-guided tour.

Meet your tour guide at the Joinery at 300 Turney Street in Sausalito. Make sure to meet your guide outside of the restaurant in the Incredible Adventures labeled vehicle.
Itinerary
On your Muir Woods tour, you’ll wander through ancient groves of coastal redwoods at the Muir Woods National Monument and take a leisurely walk along the historic flower-lined sidewalks of Sausalito. If you’ve never seen an old-growth redwood forest, prepare for a full sensory experience.
On your tour, you’ll see the trees of Muir Woods that are between 800 and 1,200 years old. You’ll have a full hour and a half to roam through this ‘living museum’ where you can walk among the towering trees that used to dominate the west coast from Santa Barbara to Washington.
After exploring Muir Woods, you’ll have a narrated tour to the beautiful seaside Mediterranean-style town of Sausalito, after which you’ll get a chance to explore the 2.5-mile waterfront (approx 45 minutes total) before returning to the city across the Golden Gate Bridge.
Want to add a little more adventure to your day? You can also choose to skip the ride back in the mini-shuttle and opt for a picturesque ferry ride back to San Francisco! For only $14.75 extra, take the scenic ferry ride to Fisherman’s Wharf or the San Francisco Ferry Building.
